About Us

Jen Grant and Heather McHugh launched CampusMOM Concierge with a two-fold mission: to ease the burdens of parents navigating parenthood from afar, and, most importantly, to empower college students to thrive by reducing their everyday stresses in today's demanding world.

Heather’s challenge of helping her son away at college in another city sparked a conversation with Jen leading to a lightbulb moment. Together they recognized a need for a service to help parents navigate the challenges of parenting from miles away and the growing concern for student mental health.

CampusMOM Concierge aims to alleviate these pressures by allowing students more time to focus on academics while giving parents the peace of mind knowing that they have a support system in the big city of Los Angeles.

Meet Heather

Eager to escape the small town life of her Connecticut town, Heather McHugh ran for the cobbled streets of Boston to study at Northeastern University. There she would earn a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Public Relations while working coops with John Hancock’s Sport Marketing department. After graduation, the bright lights of Los Angeles beckoned where Heather would embark on a journey into the heart of the entertainment industry.

Heather’s early PR career saw her working alongside some of the biggest names in entertainment as well as IMG Sports and Universal Studios all the while honing her communication and relationship-building skills. This groundwork proved invaluable when she went on to work for the President of Maverick Records, Guy Oseary and its legendary female founder, Madonna. Later she would move into the world of music producer management, strategizing and anticipating the needs for some of the industry's most talented behind-the-scenes players.

Years later, life took a beautiful turn when Heather met her husband, Peter, and started a family. Soon they would welcome two sons, Matthew and Maximillian, into their world.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Heather is dedicated to helping her community. She has chaired and overseen major school fundraisers and galas, been Room Mom more times than she can count and driven an exorbitant amount of carpools on the crazy streets of LA.
